Last night Wesley Chapel Wind Ensemble had another intense rehearsal, preparing some very challenging music.  I am very pleased with our progress and I know our concert will be a wonderful presentation for all that attend.  Don't miss it!  Get your tickets early!  It's so impressive to me that a group of students and adults, with so many ability levels can prepare such great music with only one rehearsal a week.  It's a CHALLENGE, but we seem to pull it off!  Great job everyone!

If you haven't heard the band, come take a listen this Friday night, April 27th at the Relay for Life event at Wesley Chapel High School.  Address is 30651 Wells Rd.  We perform at 8pm!  Tickets for our outstanding May 20th concert will be available for purchase in person from any member.

Attention Members:  We will meet at 7:30pm, dress is black and white.  Music selection will be as follows:  Pirates of the Caribbean, Hallelujiah, Lord of the Dance, Peregrin, Washington Post, Chicago, Nathan Hale Trilogy, Jump Jive An' Wail. We will consider adding Cumberland Cross if ready.  Bring your tickets to sell to possible interested buyers!

A journalist and photographer was at rehearsal last night, and will be writing up a wonderful article about our upcoming May 20th concert!  Judging by last night's rehearsal, this is going to be a spectacular event!  The 52 musicians rehearsing last night did a TREMENDOUS job, and the music is stellar.  We sounded like a professional group, and we still have plenty of rehearsal time to go.  Tickets will be printed this week, so start selling, and if you're planning to attend, get your tickets EARLY on our website link to the left.  They will be in the mail after April 17th!

We will again break into sectionals at tonight's rehearsal, and start work on William Tell Overture.  Saxophone ensemble will have some time tonight as well.  Jazz band at 6pm and copies have been made.  Folders are all fixed up thanks to Cindy and the board has met and finalized our May concert on May 20th at 3:00pm.  More great news to share tonight!  It's an exciting time to be part of the Wesley Chapel Wind Ensemble!

In order to make our big concert in May or June a huge success, we're in great need of Sponsorships. Please use any connections you may have to talk this up with your bosses, and friends as soon as possible. Any donation over $100.00 will be listed in our program. Donations of $500-999 will be listed as Silver Sponsors, $1000-1499 Gold Sponsors, and anything over $1500 will be listed as Platinum Sponsors and have special ad space. Tickets will be given to sponsors as well!

Many have been asking for it, and here it comes!  Our very first Jazz Band is set to start, Thursday, March 8th at 6:00pm.  All are welcome to give it a try!  Same place as regular rehearsals, and we'll stop around 6:50 to give you a break before regular rehearsal!  Come join the fun!

I sincerely appreciate the hard work and efforts of all the WCWE members tonight at rehearsal. We are once again pressed for time, but everyone is diligently working to make things go as smoothly as possible. Thank you to everyone! Nice rehearsal tonight.
